As social media has become an integral part of our lives, we tend to display our life only in positive ways — check out Facebook, and everyone seems to be happy. It almost feels like living in Disneyland, a place full of only dreams and hopes. Every day, articles are published explaining about how to manage strong Linkedin or personal Facebook pages in order to build a strong impression.

In a seminar class, we read articles about the world of the Internet and the role of personas in creating alternate identities. In response to these readings, I created a series of transformative figures based on the notion of ideal beauty and perfect ratios of facial components.
